Furniture and Appliance Removal in Tallahassee, FL
Heavy, awkward, and up a flight of stairs. That is our normal.

Specialty item disposal feesSome specialty items, including mattresses, box springs, tires, appliances containing refrigerant, and paint or chemicals, carry an added disposal fee set by the facility that accepts them. We tell you about any of these fees in your estimate, before the job starts.
Bulky items are the hardest thing to get rid of on your own. A sleeper sofa will not fit down the stairwell, a refrigerator is too heavy for one person, and Tallahassee curbside pickup will not touch most of it. We do that part.
We remove furniture and appliances from any floor or room, protect doorways and walls on the way out, and disconnect standard appliances as long as no plumbing or gas line work is required. One couch or an entire houseful, the process is the same.
A few heavy pieces often turn into a bigger clear-out. See how our general junk removal works. or read about full property cleanouts.

How furniture & appliance removal works with us
Tell us the item and the floor
A photo plus which room it is in is usually all we need to price it. Stairs and tight turns are fine, we just want to plan for them.
We carry it out
The crew handles the lifting and maneuvering, with doorways and corners protected on the way through.
Hauled off and disposed of right
Let us know about anything still usable and we will try to keep it out of the landfill when a local outlet will take it. Appliances are disposed of properly.
Two ways to get your free estimate
Send us a few photos and we'll reply with an estimate, or let you know if an in-person visit is needed.
Furniture & Appliance Removal questions we hear a lot
- Can you take just one item?
- Yes. Single item pickups are one of our most common jobs, and we price them accordingly.
- Do you disconnect appliances?
- We unplug and disconnect standard hookups. Anything requiring a licensed plumber, electrician, or gas fitter needs to be disconnected before we arrive.
- Is mattress removal handled differently?
- Mattresses and box springs are wrapped and taken to a facility that accepts them. Some specialty materials, including mattresses and box springs, can carry an added disposal fee, and we tell you before the job starts if one applies.
- Can you remove items from an upstairs apartment?
- Yes. Stairs, elevators, and narrow hallways are routine for us. Just mention the floor when you request your estimate.
- What if the item is broken?
- That is fine. Condition does not matter for removal, it only affects whether the item has any chance of being reused.
